Superbowl weekend in Rochester, NY!

January 18th, 2009



On Superbowl weekend (the weekend of February 1), I shall be in Rochester, New York hanging out with Douleur, Madge, Theresa, Pat, Jeff and whoever else comes to party with the “in-crowd.”

Do you care to join us?  I’ll be there for about 5 days and it would be awesome to grab a beer, drink some wine, sing some karaoke and watch some football with some of you awesome people in or around NY.

It’s going to be fun!

And . . . for some strange reason I miss cold weather.  Must be because I’m used to it, but with temps here in Cali in the 70’s lately, it certainly isn’t the midwestern winter that I’ve been used to for the last five winters . . . I certainly will be getting a taste of the cold in NY unless some freak heatwave comes in at the end of the month . . .

Does anyone have any tips for packing light and/or packing “tight”?  I am flying Delta and gonna try to just take a carry-on.  I have NEVER been able to do this as I am a major over-packer (I try to always be prepared which results in too much luggage . . .).

I am wondering if I can do this . . . we shall see.

This is also my pick for the superbowl and after today we’ll find out if it came true:  Steelers vs. Eagles.

PS I may be in Pittsburgh in March.  If anyone is around Pitt, hit me up . . .

A couple hours after I decided there was nothing to take photos of in my house, I proved myself wrong and took a bunch of really terribly pretentious up-close photos of
a bunch of ridiculous shit. En-freakin’-joy.
